The charisma of a brand, and its opportunities in the future, are often explained by looking back into history - a look at its origins and its tradition.
In 1910, the success story began as »Deutsche Armaturenfabrik Leipzig DAL« - founded by brothers Richard and Max Rost,- in a time, therefore, when centralized water supply in households was still young.

This period was strongly influenced by the holistic and design approach of the Bauhaus, the art school for architecture and design, and was represented by the world-famous architects Walter Gropius, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier, who carried the Bauhaus style of »new functionality« (form follows function) around the world.

The company took up these design ideas of the Bauhaus, a symbiosis of architecture, art and design, and exhibited their products with other leading exhibitors from the emerging faucet industry at the internationally acclaimed Spring and Autumn Fairs in Leipzig.
And so we can now proudly look back on more than 100 years of tradition.
